AC Milan striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has called for an investigation into the alleged use of his name and face without permission by Gaming company, EA Sports in their Fifa soccer games series over the years.
The 39-year-old striker took to his Twitter page on Monday to question why his likeness is being used in the popular video game.
“Who gave FIFA EA Sports permission to use my name and face? @FIFPro? I’m not aware to be a member of Fifpro and if I am I was put there without any real knowledge through some weird maneuver.
And for sure I never allowed @FIFAcom or Fifpro to make money using me.
“Somebody is making profit on my name and face without any agreement all these years. Time to investigate.”he tweeted.

Fifpro, the global players union, included Ibrahimovic in their World XI in 2013. The Swede then collected his award at the Ballon d’Or ceremony the following year.
It could be recalled that AC Milan has an agreement of exclusive multi-year partnership with EA Sports this year. The Serie A club began with FIFA 21, and gave the franchise access to players, kits, training grounds and the San Siro stadium.
Also, Ibrahimovic recently gifted AC Milan team-mates a new PlayStation 5 video games console. He then inspired the Rossoneri to a 3-1 win against Napoli on Sunday, scoring two goals including a fabulous long-range header.

Although, EA Sport has a franchise with the Serie A club, but will Ibrahimovic be suing the game developers for using his name and face without permission as claimed?
As a game company, does EA Sports have the right to use his name and face on their brand without permission? This and more are likely questions that answer could be provided to very soon.
Looking at his tweet, the Swede might not be suing the game developer. It remains unknown if Fifpro will investigate what happened.
The current face of FIFA 21 is Kylian Mbappe, who has also been promoting the game. It is believed that the Frenchman got some financial reward for this.
Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic has received a backing from Tottenham Hotspurs forward, Gareth Bale over his claim.

Ibrahimovic was seen promoting FIFA 17 during his stint at Mancghester United. But why did he support the game them without raising his voice? Why is it now that he is talking?
It seems something is fishy about this recent claim.We will be on the lookout for reaction from EA sport and Fifa pro.
But some players have been playing the game and they never make this type of claim. It expected that the investigation should ben targeted at the previous edition and not ththe recent edition released on October five because Milan already have an agreement with the outfit.
