Kai Havertz has expressed that winning the UEFA Champions League title at Arsenal would mean a lot more to him than the success he enjoyed in the competition during his spell at Chelsea.
Havertz scored the crucial goal for the Blues in the final against Manchester City in 2021, helping the Stamford Bridge side claim the title for the 2nd time in their history.
Despite scoring that monumental goal, Kai Havertz had an underwhelming spell at Chelsea, as he failed to meet up to the lofty expectations placed on him.
Due to his wishy-washy display at Chelsea, he was sold to Arsenal for a fee of €75 million in the summer of 2023.

The 25-year-old added that it would be “nicer” if he could help Arsenal win the UEFA Champions League title, also sharing that “it would mean a lot more.”
Arsenal have never won the UEFA Champions League since the club was founded in 1886, with the closest they have come being a runner up finish in the competition in 2006.

Havertz further made it known that he is happy at Arsenal and claimed that his “development has been quite good”.
He said: “The journey is good for sure. It’s my second year and I’m very happy to be here.
“My development has been quite good. It took some time for me personally to fit in fast but it took me two or three months to get used to everything, to get used to the system, the teammates, and the coach and it’s always a big step when you move to a different club, but I feel very good and ready to play.”
