The Nigeria international made this assertion whilst responding to a question posed to him about whether he would be keen on playing in the top flight of league football in England.

Speaking during a football show on Sporty TV, Boniface expressed that even before he had an international passport and dreamt of playing in Europe, he hadn’t been intrigued about plying his trade in the English Premier League.
He said: “I’ve been saying this even before I had an international passport, even before I dreamed of coming to Europe.
Victor Boniface also went ahead to reveal the league he prefers, saying: “I don’t really like the Premier League, I prefer Spanish and German football.”
