Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou appears to be oozing optimism for the 2024/25 football season.
Postecoglou has claimed that he often experiences success in his second season at clubs he previously managed.

Speaking during an interview with Sky Sports ahead of Spurs’ 1-1 draw with Leicester City on Monday, August 19, 2024, Ange Postecoglou said:
“Usually in my second season, I win things. That’s the whole idea. The first year is about establishing principles and creating a foundation.
“Hopefully the second year is about going on to win things. Of course, it’s easier said than done, particularly in the Premier League and the competitions we’re in.”

Alongside the Scottish Premiership, Ange Postecoglou also claimed the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup in his final season with Celtic.
It will be fascinating to see if Postecoglou can guide Tottenham Hotspur to silverware for the first time since 2008 when they won the English Football League Cup under Spanish tactician Juande Ramos.
They still enjoy the services of stars like; Heung-min Son, James Maddison, and Cristian Romero, and it will be fascinating to see how they fare in the 2024/25 season.
