Kylian Mbappe has reportedly rejected PSG’s latest contract offer despite opting to remain at the club for the 2023/2024 season.

Kylian Mbappe Rejects PSG's Latest Contract Proposal

The Frenchman is interested in a move to Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer but as we know, nothing can be predicted about his future.

Fresh reports on Friday 26th August, 2023, claim that PSG had offered the youngster a new proposal to renew his contract.

Mbappe and PSG were reported to be in negotiations and his continuity beyond this season became a possibility.

Ramon Alvarez de Mon, however, reports that Mbappe has rejected the contract offer that was tabled for him by the Ligue 1 giants.

However, Kylian Mbappe has reiterated that he will only remain at the club this season and will move out in the coming summer.

Recall we reported that Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti ruled out the signing of Kylian Mbappe from PSG as they are done in that transfer market.

Speaking ahead of their match against Celta Vigo on Friday – which Madrid won 1:0 – Ancelotti was asked about the possibility of any player joining the squad before the transfer market closes.

The veteran Italian was firm in his stance that his squad was closed for the season stating “No, I rule it out 100%.”

And as for Mbappe, PSG have agreed to his continuity for the ongoing season despite not reaching an agreement on a contract renewal.

Reports also have it that the Frenchman is letting go of the bonuses PSG owes him in order to churn out a favorable offer.

However, Nasser Al-Khelaifi and his excos are still hoping that they can convince the player to renew his contract at the club.

They are also looking to see if they can win the trust of Kylian Mbappe with their project over the next season and tie him down with a longer deal.

Should Mbappe renew his contract in France, the chance of a move to Real Madrid in the years to come would appear bleak.

PSG’s Previous Warning To Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe and PSG are currently locked in a contract saga, with the 24-year-old saying that he would rather be an outcast in Paris than move to Saudi Arabia.

Recall we revealed that PSG accepted a huge offer of €300 million (£259m/$332m) bid for the player last month.

French journalist Bruno Andrade claims that PSG previously told the superstar he will play no part in 2023-24 if he remains at the club this summer.

This came after the Frenchman rejected the Saudi approach and one from the Premier League as well.

The deal between Kylian Mbappe and PSG is due to expire in June 2024, and therefore this is Les Parisiens’ last chance to avoid making a significant loss on the superstar.

New boss Luis Enrique is already bossing the whole team, after permitting the departure of Neymar, Hugo Ekitike, Renato Sanches, Gini Wijnaldum, and Juan Bernat.

PSG began their title challenge on a draw state against Lorient on matchday 1 and also a one-all draw with Toulouse.
