Manchester United has reiterated that it is not going to give up hope of landing Borussia Dortmund winger, Jadon Sancho.
According to reports by ESPN, the Red Devils further stated they are growing frustrated by Borussia Dortmund’s conduct during negotiations.
Although Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc had on Monday claimed that the deal is dead, United remain determined to sign Sancho this summer.
“We plan on having Jadon Sancho in our team this season, the decision is final. I think that answers all our questions.
“Last summer we adjusted Jadon’s salary to match the development of his performances. So in context, we had already extended his contract until 2023 back then,” Zorc said.
With negotiations reportedly slowed done by the Bundesliga club, Man United bosses, including executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and chief negotiator Matt Judge, are becoming disgruntled over the attitude and Dortmund’s demands. It was gathered that they are also working through third party agent Marco Lichtsteiner.
Solskjaer kept mum on transfer speculation surrounding Jadon Sancho
Meanwhile, the coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided not to comment on the reported transfer negotiations between both parties.
The Norwegian had on Monday night guided United to a 1-0 win in the Europa League quarterfinals against Copenhagen. United progressed to the last four in Cologne thanks to a penalty from Bruno Fernandes in extra time.

How much does Dortmund want for Sancho?
It has been gathered that Dortmund valued Sancho at €120 million, which United has described as unrealistic in a market affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Apart from the price tag, the club is also going frustrated at the agent fees being quoted and the wage demands being made by Sancho’s representatives.
The Monday deadline being imposed by Dortmund for an agreement to be reached has passed and Sancho traveled with the Bundesliga side for their preseason training camp in Switzerland.
Zorc had also said later that the decision to keep Sancho this summer “is final”. He also revealed that Dortmund has exercised an option in the 20-year-old’s contract which ties him to the club until 2023.
