Cesar Azpilicueta, who is 33 years old, is in the twilight of his professional football career.

Chelsea are also looking to rebuild under Pochettino next season after a disastrous 2022/23 campaign, adding a right-back to the team could be a smart idea.

Nacho is yet to sign an extension with Madrid and he could leave Santiago Bernabeu for free.

The Spaniard could prove to be a solid backup or even a replacement for Azpilicueta at Chelsea.
