Bayern Munich’s new manager, Thomas Tuchel, revealed he was sacked by Chelsea at 8:00 a.m. after a meeting that lasted just three minutes. The German manager claimed he was shocked by Chelsea’s brutality.

The sack happened after Chelsea lost to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League group stage. It was an unexpected sack that caused division among the Chelsea fans.

Since he was appointed on January 20, 2021, after Chelsea sacked Frank Lampard, Tuchel has won the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup, as well as reaching the FA Cup final twice and the Carabao Cup final.

Tuchel admitted that the pain of the sack on the 100th day of Todd Boehly ownership still lingers in him even though he has a new job back at the league where he started his managerial career.

Tuchel wanted to stay longer at the club and believed they could achieve good things. The manager claimed that even though he got sacked by Chelsea, he still had a good relationship with the staff there.

Tuchel still communicates with the Chelsea players and many of his friends at Cobb’s training center. The manager claimed the closeness would not end even though he now has a new job at a rival club, Bayern.

He built extraordinary relationships with the fans during the COVID-19 period and during Brexit, but it was not in his hands to make decisions. Thomas Tuchel wants to use his influence at Chelsea to bring Mason Mount to Bayern Munich.

There are also discussions about Chelsea’s assistant coach Anthony Barry joining Bayern Munich due to the presence of Tuchel. The German wants Barry to reunite with him in the Bayern Munich dressing room.

Thomas Tuchel will begin a new challenge when he faces his former club Borussia Dortmund tonight (17:30), April 1, 2023. The manager is looking forward to winning the treble this season, even with limited matches.

Beating Borussia Dortmund will return Bayern Munich to the top of the table, where they belong. Bayern Munich also faces Freiburg on April 4, 2023, in the quarterfinals of the DFB Pokal.

Also, Bayern Munich will play in the Champions League encounter against Manchester City on April 11, 2023, at 8:00 p.m.

Thomas Tuchel may meet his former team in the semi-finals of the Champions League if they defeat Premier League reigning champion Manchester City and if Chelsea can upset last year’s Champions League winners Real Madrid.

It will surely be an interesting encounter, as Tuchel will like to prove Boehly wrong for sacking him without giving him a chance.

However, Thomas Tuchel recognizes the pressure on his new job and wouldn’t want to get sacked again. His experience in the German Bundesliga will be an advantage for him.

What do you think about Chelsea’s brutal sacking of Thomas Tuchel?
