The Brazil international vented his frustrations at Conte after he was left on the bench in Spurs Vs AC Milan Champions League round of 16 return leg at London Stadium.
Spurs failed to overturn the 1-0 first-leg loss at the San Siro in Italy and settled for a 0-0 draw, crashing out of the competition on a narrow 1-0 aggregate loss.
Richarlison blew hot after the game questioning Antonio Conte’s decision to leave him on the bench in such a high-profile game.
Richardson’s first season at Tottenham has been tough so far. He has missed games through a spell on the sidelines, making only 12 starts on his 25 outings with Spurs in all competitions.
In the game against Southampton on Saturday, March 18, he was forced off the pitch after picking up an injury that will return him to the sidelines.
Before the game, Richarlison was having difficulties in the warm-up and was spotted resting on his haunches.
Just five minutes into the game, he was injured again and had to leave the field of play in tears consoled by his teammates and Antonio Conte as he walked off into the tunnel.
Richarlison was not the only player that walked off the pitch due to an injury. Tottenham were hit with a double injury blow during the game just in the first half of play.
Ben Davies picked up a hamstring injury before Southampton also recorded a double injury blow later in the game.
Richarlison’s spell with Tottenham has been marred with incessant injury blows after he joined the London club from Everton for £60m.
The 25-year-old has been a sparing phase in Antonio Conte’s team this season and has struggled to start for the club with his injury plague.
In October, Richarlison was forced off the pitch with a calf injury during Tottenham’s Premier League win against Everton.
However, he had a timely recovery and joined Brazil’s national team for the 2022 World Cup.
At the World Cup, Richarlison picked up another injury in their quarterfinal loss to Croatia and was ruled out of action for three matches for Tottenham.
Richarlison recovered again and returned to Premier League action for Spurs but has struggled to impact the fortunes of the club in their battle to retain their top-four spot.
In their Premier League win over Nottingham Forest before the Southampton game, Richarlison was instrumental in the victory.
He created a penalty for Spurs and also assisted a goal to secure a deserved win.
The 25-year-old had hoped to continue in his sterling display before he hit the nightmare injury against Southampton that will return him to the sidelines.
Sitting on the turf in dismay, Richarlison was consoled by his captain Harry Kane before he walked down the tunnel.

At the time of filing this report, the nature of Richarlison’s injury is yet to be confirmed but he will now join the list of Spurs’ injured players like Hugo Loris, Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Ryan Sessegnon.
