Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, like other supportive mothers, has publicly demonstrated her backing for her son for the first time following Ronaldo’s recent blockbuster interview with Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo’s mother Dolores, has always been duly involved in her youngest child’s outstanding achievements that have seen him win Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, and Champions League titles, alongside five Ballon d’Or awards.
However, following Ronaldo’s discord with Manchester United, the 67-year-old mother-of-four has decided to stay by Ronaldo’s side during his woes at United.
Dolores Aveiro, recently applauded a Portuguese journalist and writer, Luis Osorio, who called Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag a “miserable footnote” in the history of football and insulted him.
Dolores shared a post by Luis Osorio to her Instagram page, showing her support for the damning post that urged Cristiano Ronaldo to tell the Manchester United Dutch manager to “f*** off”.
The Portuguese journalist Osorio’s Instagram post passionately defended Ronaldo’s decision to speak out against Manchester United, with Osorio’s post reading:
”As far as the Dutchman who has managed you in these last few months goes, I just want to laugh.
“How can you compare what you are to a miserable footnote in football history!’
‘As Alberto Joao Jardim says, tell him to ‘f*** off. I know you already have but it’s worth reiterating.”
Ronaldo’s mother’s response came after Ronaldo recently said in an interview that he did not respect the United boss Ten Hag.
Aside from Ten Hag, the Portuguese legendary goalscorer also criticized former United teammates Wayne Rooney, Gary Neville, and Ralf Rangnick in his damnation interview with Piers Morgan.
The five-time ballon d’Or winner called Rooney a ‘rat’ and claimed he’s not friends with other teammates he insulted in his outrageous interview, saying he felt betrayed by them and the English football club, Manchester United.
Meanwhile, reports are going around that Manchester United is planning to cut all ties with Cristiano Ronaldo and disengage his contract from Old Trafford.
The 13-time Premier League champions Manchester United, have begun conducting legal moves to terminate the contract of the 37-year-old Portuguese top goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo.
In extension, Cristiano Ronaldo may not feature in any of Manchester United’s games henceforth and he is likely to exit the club next year in January.
It remains to be seen which club Ronaldo would move to next but he’s likely to make his next career transfer to a Champions League club.
However, the 37-year-old Portuguese national team captain will likely focus on steering his side to victory and winning the Qatar World Cup before deciding on his next club.
