2023 WWC: Nike has released the 2023 Women’s World Cup kits for 13 sponsored teams. While some are available, others will hit stores before the commencement of the women’s World Cup.
We are about that time of the year before a big tournament when some of the biggest brands in football start releasing their awesome kits to be worn by their players.
Nike is the second brand to unveil kits of Women’s World Cup that would hold later this year.
The brand worked closely with each nation to design their kits, and they were inspired by each country’s distinct identities and diverse communities, with intricate details and unique colors and patterns.
The Nike kits, which also turned to unique needs for today’s female footballers and this innovation are mapped to a woman’s specific movements.
The brand is partnering with more women’s football federations who have qualified for this summer’s tournament than any other brand.
Adidas was the first to launch kits for the upcoming competition. After they revealed the official match ball, they also released away kits for ten national sides. They have partnership with – Argentina, Colombia, Germany, Japan, Spain, and Sweden.
Adidas did unveil an eye-catching designs for Costa Rica, Italy and Jamaica earlier this year, and the other kits are still to be released.
The Adidas kits as revealed were all inspired by nature, which celebrated the iconic scenery and diverse natural landscapes of each nation.

Argentina 2023 Women’s World Cup away kit
Argentina away kit signifies the diverse natural landscapes found across the country, striking landscapes from Serrania de Hornocal.

Brazil 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
Brazil National Team Collection weaves together a distinct look through a tropical foliage pattern. It was inspired by the Brazilian Amazon.
Canada 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
Canada National Team Kits focuses more on the nation’s traditional red and white colors, while the away kits features their traditional red and white.
China 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
China’s National Team Collection shines a spotlight on China’s traditional colours of red and yellow which is combination of China’s identity and culture. The away kits highlights a bright yellow hue as well.
Columbia 2023 Women’s World Cup away kit
Colombian away kit pays homage to the many hues of the Caño Cristales River which they refer to as the “River of Five Color,” which celebrates the reflextion of light against water.
England 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
England National Team Home and Away Kits was inspired by the Art Deco movement and the design of the legendary Wembley Stadium, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
The away kits are designed to bring in the first expression of blue in the team’s history.
France 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
France’s National Team Collection is inspired by Orphism, an art movement promoted in the early 1920s, when the first French Womens Football team was established.

Germany’s away jersey is inspired by the various deep green woodland environments that are scattered all over the country, right from the Black Forest to the Zauberwald.
Japan 2023 Women’s World Cup away kit
Japan’s away kit is in its magnificient pink color which was coined from the beautiful pink sunrise that is always seen at Mount Fuji.
Korea 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
The Korea National Team Collection was inspired by the country’s rich and growing youth culture and globally renowned fashion style, while the away kits have color blocking which was inspired by Korean fashion scene.
Netherlands 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
The Netherlands National Team Collection features two identities: the red, blue and white colors of the country’s flag, and the bright orange that is their traditional national color.
The Away kit also highlights the color of the flag, which had blue as the primary color.
New Zealand 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
New Zealand National Team Collection portrays the country’s unique and iconic culture and landscapes.
The home kit highlights the landscapes uniquely while the awat kit features a bright blue color. It is inspired by the 1991 qualifying squad.
Nigeria 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
The Nigeria National Team Kits draw its color and inpiration from the distinctiveness of the country’s local prints, patterns and designs.
The home kits feature a bespoke pattern with current styles from the fashion scene of the capital city of Abuja.
The away kit which is forest green, highlights modern shapes with traditional prints; the details on the graphic pattern pay homage to the team’s “Super Falcons” name.

Norway National Team Collection highlights some bold color combinations, given room for the team to mix and match the colours of its national flag in an awesome way.
Portugal 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
The Portugal National Team Collection highlights the naton’s modern art and fashion as well as the nation’s maritime roots and traditional craftsmanship to proudly represent Portuguese heritage.
The away kit shows a vibrant colour scheme and fine pattern inspired by the country’s famous calçada Portuguesa designs.

USA 2023 Women’s World Cup home and away kits
USA National Team Kits was inspired by the art movement of abstract expressionism as seen below.
It however started in the 1940s in New York City as the art epicentre began to shift from Europe to the U.S.
