The Liverpool side started sluggishly after the international break, with Wolves going ahead in the first half.
Hee Chan Hwang scored in the 7th minute of the first half with a low cross from Pedro Neto in the Liverpool 18-yard box.
Matheus Cunha should have scored the second goal for Wolverhampton Wanderers, but he could get his head on the ball.
Liverpool equalized in the second half with a Cody Gakpo shot. A few minutes later, they added to the score line to make it 2-1.
Mohamed Salah fed Liverpool youngster Elliot to extend the lead to 3-1 after his attempt deflected through Bueno into the net.
How Liverpool Ended The Match With a Win Despite Losing The First Half
Wolves, who haven’t won a single match in their last three previous matches in the Premier League, got ahead of Liverpool in the 7th minute of the match.
Neto raced past Liverpool’s Matip and played the ball towards the rushing Hwang Hee-chan, who hit the ball into the net.
Neto, being the only Wolverhampton Wanderers player threatening Liverpool from the left wing, put in yet another cross from Liverpool’s left flank.
However, the crosses could not materialize due to the Wolverhampton Wanderers Cuncha’s failure to hit a header.
Liverpool’s best chance came in the 39th minute, with Robertson delivering yet another top-notch performance on the right wing.
Robertson crossed the ball from the left flank, but Cody Gakpo was not able to make contact with the ball.
Before the end of the first half, Liverpool players were very much available in the Wolves 18-yard box. However, Wolves defensive mastery ensured the ball didn’t go into the net.
Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai’s shots were blocked by Wolves defenders.
Earlier in the second half, Liverpool had a chance of getting an equalizer with Robertson’s one-touch pass to Luis Diaz, but the Liverpool player was unable to hit the ball on target.
Liverpool got what they deserved in the 55th minute of the second half. Mohamed Salah released a nice pass to Cody Gakpo, who tapped the ball into the empty net.
Salah, who has been Liverpool’s most important player, created a chance for Robertson to give Liverpool the lead against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
After scoring the second goal, Liverpool never seemed to be relaxed, and they kept pushing for the third.

Liverpool, on the other hand, will kick off its Uefa Europa League campaign against LASK on September 21, 2023, at 5:45 p.m. It is going to be a difficult match for the Merseyside Reds to win.
