Lavia left Anderlecht when he was 16 for Manchester City in the summer of 2020, and signed his first professional contract.

Lavia joined Southampton and signed a five-year contract on 6th July 2022 and on 6 August 2022, he made his debut in a 4–1 loss away to Tottenham Hotspur.
