The weekly wages of Barcelona first-team players for the 2024-25 season have been revealed with the top-rated players handsomely remunerated financially.
It is pertinent to note that footballers in most top leagues in Europe, including La Liga, don’t receive their payment on a weekly basis. However, their regular normal earnings are evaluated based on their contract terms.

Barcelona are among the biggest spenders in La Liga both on transfers and players’ wages despite the club’s recent financial problems. According to Capology, the La Liga club’s estimated spending on wage settlement for players alone is €3,800,000 weekly. The annual value amounts to €197,700,000. The club’s average annual spending per player is €7,600,000 and €146,000 weekly.
The reason for the relatively high spending on wages cannot be farfetched. The 32-time Bundesliga champions boast a great number of players with high wages compared to other domestic rivals.
From A-list cadres of players such as Frenkie de Jong, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Ansu Fati, Jules Kounde, and more, the wage figures are six digits, with some players earning as much as over €600,000 weekly.
Also, there are low-earning players, comprising mostly recent academy starlets called up into the first team. Fast-rising youngster Lamine Yamal leads the list of low-earning players with an approximate weekly wage of €38,000. Ander Astralaga is the least-earning Barcelona player with a weekly wage of €3,800.

Frenkie de Jong is Barcelona’s highest-paid player in the 2024-25 season. The Dutch, who seems to have apparently lost his spark due to niggling injuries, earns an astonishing €721,000 weekly. His estimated annual salary is €37,500,000. The 2022 summer arrival from Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski, is second on the list. The Poland international earns roughly €640,000 weekly and €33,330,000 annually.
Apart from Frenkie de Jong and Robert Lewandowski, no other Barcelona player earns over €270,000 weekly. After the duo, Barcelona’s next three highest-paid players in the top five list earn between €240,000 to €268,000.
Ansu Fati, who spent last season on loan to Brighton, leads the list with €268,000 as a weekly wage. He is closely followed by Jules Kounde with €260,000, and Raphinha completing the top five with €240,000.

Eric Garcia closes the list of the nine players earning above €100,000 weekly in the squad. His weekly paycheck is €115,000. Pau Cubarsi tops the list of players with weekly wages below €100,000. Cubarsi earns €76,000 weekly and is followed by Inaki Pena who is paid €62,000 weekly. Ander Astralaga is the least-paid player, with €3,800.
