Real Madrid won their record-extending UEFA Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
The Los Blancos survived Borussia Dortmund’s first-half scare to secure a deserved 2-0 victory. Goals from Dani Carvajal and 2024 Ballon d’Or candidate Vinicius Jr sealed victory for the LaLiga champions.
After the victory, it was a celebration galore for the players. Vinicius Jr was seen sharing the joy with the fans as he jumped into the crowd of fans to celebrate the triumph.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti joined the celebrations. Ancelotti danced with the players in one of the most iconic moments of the celebrations.
He was also seen being hoisted high up into the air by the players. Away from the pitchside celebrations, the Los Blancos dressing room was equally lit with the players dancing and singing in high spirits.
Carlo Ancelotti has now won three Champions League titles as Real Madrid manager and two in his second spell with the club.
It is indeed an incredible campaign for the Italian who also won the LaLiga for the club in the campaign.
Vinicius Jr also made the headlines for a brilliant individual performance in the game. The Brazilian scored the death-knell goal that sealed victory for the Los Blancos and has been tipped to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.
It was also a big moment for another promising England midfielder Jude Bellingham, who has now won a double of LaLiga and Champions League in his first season with Real Madrid.
