Arsenal made a bold statement in the Premier League title race after two first-half goals helped them complete a double over Tottenham to claim three points from the Lilywhites.

In a viral footage, Richarlison and Aaron Ramsdale started the scuffle which led to tempers boiling out of control.
The Brazil international was spotted furiously making menacing gestures towards the Arsenal goalkeeper after the referee blew the final whistle.
He poked Aaron Ramsdale in the head with his finger before the Arsenal goalie went to collect his bottle of water near the post.
The angry Tottenham fan then attempted to beak into the pitch, jumping on the Arsenal goalie and giving him a kick in the back.
Tempers boil over as the situation went dire with the coaching staff and players of the two clubs rushing to the scene.
Addressing the incident while speaking to Sky Sports after the north London derby, Aaron Ramsdale said;
“The Spurs fans gave me some throughout the game. I was giving some back.
“The people I did give it to greeted it sportsmanlike but one fan tried to give me a little punch on the back.
“It is a shame as it is just a game of football at the end of the day. Both sets of players tried to bring me away but thankfully nothing too drastic happened.
“It is a sour taste but I’m sure we will enjoy it when we go back into the dressing room.”
The win has now seen the Gunners claim an astonishing eight points gap on top of the table and will face Manchester United in their next game.
Manchester City have a tough challenge to close the eight points gap, and will count on Manchester United to complete a double against the Gunners.
Meanwhile, Richarlison was at the center of the two chaotic scenes at the end of the North London Derby. He was spotted in another heated exchange with Arsenal player in the touchlines before he came on.
The Brazil international clashed with Arsenal defender Tomiyasu after Tottenham trailed the Gunners by two goals.
Tomiyasu put his arm across Richarlison, who then angrily slapped and pulled it away.
Richarlison was later subbed on by Antonio Conte and was denied a late chance by the clinical Aarons Ramsdale, who pulled a string of astonishing saves to preserve the win.
Despite being involved in the chaos at the North London Derby, Aaron Ramsdale was the Man of the Match as he helped the Gunners survived a late sustained offensive by Spurs.
Antonio Conte now faces a tough task to battle for the top four after the loss, with Newcastle already gaining a foothold on the top four race.
