Real Madrid striker, Kareem Benzema, has reacted to his second goal in the La Liga clash against Valencia, saying it was all about quick movement.
Benzema volleyed in the stunning second goal as he took the ball out of the air with one foot and then volley home with the other. Speaking with the media after the game, the Frenchman said it might sound easy, but the control was good for him to hit the target.
Real Madrid continued to be on the trail of Barcelona on the La Liga table by beating Valencia 3-0 in their second game after the restart of the league.
“It was all very fast. It was a pass from Marco (Asensio), and i controlled the ball, it worked well and then hit it with my left foot, and it went it. It sounds easy when I explain it, but it’s about doing it in one quick movement,” he explained.
Ecstatic Benzema also said it was a beautiful goal, adding that he sometimes does that in practice, but did it in the match.
The brace takes Benzema to goal number 243rd for Real Madrid in all competitions. He is now above Ferenc Puskas into fifth in the club’s all-time list.

Zinedine Zidane goes wild over Benzema’s ‘extraordinary’ wonder strike
Speaking on his performance, Real Madrid coach said it was magnificent, as the whole team, but described his goal as extraordinary.
While noting that the Frenchman is comfortable with his left foot, Zidane said it was a wow moment for him to lift the ball in that manner, swing it with his left foot, without the ball touching the ground.
“Truly, it’s a very complicated piece of skill. It’s beautiful to see it, and I’m happy for him,” the coach added.
On Asensio’s return to the field with a goal after being out of action for ten months, Zidane expressed delight that the winger was able to score after many months of hard work after suffering a cruciate ligament injury against Arsenal in a friendly match.
Expressing satisfaction with the performance of the lad who scored just 31 seconds of being on the field, Zidane said a lot of work has gone into his return, and it means a lot to him, adding that the club is happy to see him on the pitch again.
