Victor Osimhen has taken his CAF Player of the Year award to his primary school in Lagos, Nigeria as he continues to enjoy his summer break across the country.
Osimhen, who recently made social media agog due to his utterances in a live broadcast on Instagram, recently visited his alma mater, Olusosun Primary School, located in Oregun, Lagos State and he went with his continental individual prize.
Victor Osimhen was handed the award for the men’s best African footballer of the year in December 2023, becoming the first Nigerian to win the award since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999.
The footballer’s recent visit to the school was revealed on X (formerly known as Twitter) by photojournalist, Sulaiman Adebayo, popularly known as Pooja.

In June 2023, Osimhen had also paid a visit to the primary school, with the Napoli man apparently going to see his former classroom alongside his old teacher, whilst also taking pictures with the students present at the school.
