The President of Napoli FC, Aurelio De Laurentiis has stressed that high-flying Serie A league leaders do not intend to sell their goal poacher Victor Osimhen anytime soon.

This is coming in spite of reports that the Red Army, Manchester United are making plans of bidding for the fiery forward.

Victor Osimhen has played a front role in Napoli’s charge for the Italian Serie A for the first time in over thirty (30) years.

By virtue of Osimhen’s performances, he has attracted interest from a lot of top clubs in Europe with Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea amongst the clubs reported to be going for the Nigerian.

Manchester United are reportedly set to table an offer of £107 million but Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis body language signals that Manchester United would have to push painstakingly to land the man.

Aurelio De Laurentiis speaking with German Newspaper, Bild has stated that he does not plan to sell Victor Osimhen.

“I can tell you that Osimhen is not for sale.

“Our players are in demand, but I don’t have to sell anyone, We don’t have any debts”.

Victor Osimhen moved to Napoli from Ligue 1 side, Losc Lille in 2020 for £62.4m and has scored 45 goals in 83 appearances.

His current contract with the Neapolitans runs until 2025 and conversations over renewal of contractual agreements are said to not yet be underway.

Manchester United are the side heavily interested in bringing Osimhen to the theater of dreams as Anthony Martial is injury prone and Wout Weghorst was brought as make shift on loan, pending the time they get a permanent signing upfront.

Chelsea are another side reported to be looking at the possibility of bringing Victor Osimhen to West London due to their problems in attack.

The Blues have been using below par Kai Havertz as false nine even though they spent £323m in January.

Paris Saint Germain have also signaled interest although feeble in the Nigerian, with the French club looking at bringing Osimhen back to the French league, where he had previously excelled at Lille.

It would be interesting to see which club gets the Nigerian in the summer or if Aurelio De Laurentiis like he has said strong wield teams away from the man.

Victor Osimhen has scored a whooping sixteen (16) goals in seventeen appearances for the Neapolitans this season in the Serie A, in addition to making three assists.

His partnership with Georgian winger, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been a potent force as both have combined on many occasions to save the day when need be for Napoli this season.

Aurelio De Laurentiis would have to do much to hold on to this wonderful duo for a long time, but he is not a stranger to having a firm grip on a player until he finds it suitable for the player to go, like he did with Kalidou Koulibaly.
