Victor Osimhen recently visited old pals in Ikeja Local Government Area of Lagos State and received a warm welcome from fans.
Victor Osimhen has been a sensation for Napoli this season scoring 26 goals in 32 appearances and helping the club win the Italian Serie A title.
After his successful season leading Napoli to the Scudetto, the “Best Striker In Italy” as he is called, returned home to reunite with old pals.
There was massive joy on the faces of the friends as they took turns to share hugs with the former Lille of France striker, who is nicknamed ‘Ijaya Olusosun’.
Regardless of his status, Victor Osimhen always pays courtesy visits to the hood anytime he is in the country.

Recent reports have it that the group of friends splashed cash on a cow and also had an all night party to celebrate the player’s Serie A triumph.
Fans took to social media to commend the striker for reuniting with his old friends. One said: “This is what it should be. Never allow pride make you forget your roots, it is God that elevates a man. I love the way he hugs them, it shows his simplicity.”
While another added: “You see those guys he’s kicking and pushing away? They are his real Gs!”
The third one wrote: “This is Oregun High School, I know all of them Musa, Mopol, Chidi and the rest. But I didn’t see Carlos his coach.”

Victor James Osimhen, a striker for Serie A side Napoli and the Nigerian national team, was born in Nigeria on December 29, 1998.
Osimhen was born in Lagos, to parents from Edo State and he grew up in Olusosun community in Oregun/Ojota area of Lagos State.
Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian-born player, started his senior career in Germany in 2017 with VfL Wolfsburg.
After spending a season and a half with the team, he moved on loan to Charleroi in Belgium in 2018–19 before joining Lille in France.
Victor Osimhen moved to Serie A team Napoli in 2020 for a club-record €70 million. In the 2021–22 season, he was named the Best Young Player in Serie A.
In 2015, Osimhen was given the FIFA U-17 World Cup Golden Boot award, which Nigeria won. He participated in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and made his senior international debut in June 2017. He presently ranks eighth all-time among Nigeria’s national team’s goal scorers.
