Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface took to his X account to show the football world that his grandma was on her way to Germany to watch him play in the Bundesliga.
From the images Victor Boniface posted on his personal X (formerly Twitter) account, one could see him together with his grandma in the first image, and the second image showed her sitting alone.
The former Bodo/Glimt star joined Bayer Leverkusen from Union SG and has been in scintillating form in the Bundesliga, winning Rookie Of The Month three times.
Victor Boniface, 22, has bagged 11 goals and 6 assists in 16 appearances in all competitions for the German powerhouse and he still has more up his sleeves.
The Nigerian international got supportive messages from fans under the post showing when he flew his grandmother to Germany, with several of his fans wishing him the very best as the 2023/24 season continues.
Nigerian journalist Pooja was the first to wish him well saying: “God will answer all our prayers ❤️” another fan wrote, “Things we pray for and will soon become reality.”

Victor Boniface
Victor Okoh Boniface is a Nigerian professional footballer who was born on 23 December 2000 and plays as a forward for Bayer Leverkusen and the Nigeria national team.
Boniface signed for Bodø/Glimt from Real Sapphire on 4 March 2019 but he suffered a ligament injury only two weeks after signing for Glimt which kept him out in the 2019 season.
Victor Boniface was selected to the Nigeria U-20 squad to play the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations but then again he withdrew from the squad because of injury.
He made his debut in September 2019 for the club and in August 2022, he signed a four-year contract with Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium.
Union reached the quarter-finals of the 2022–23 Europa League, in which Boniface managed to score six goals in the competition and was joint top scorer along with Marcus Rashford.
Victor Boniface made his debut for the club on 22 August in a 3-2 home win against RB Leipzig and went on to score his first Bundesliga goals with a brace against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
International Career
Victor Boniface made his debut for the Nigeria senior team on 10 September 2023, coming on for Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi.
He provided an assist in that match to Samuel Chukwueze.
