There are still two games left to play in this season UEFA Champions League group stage but four clubs have already qualified for the last-16.
The clubs that have already made it out of their groups did that by simply recording four straight victories in the group stage which earned them 12 points.
This means that whatever happens in their last two games, would not prevent them from qualifying for the UEFA Champions League last-16 this season.
Below are the four clubs that have qualified for UEFA Champions League last-16 with 2 games to spare
- Bayern Munich
As expected, Bayern Munich had an easy ride in the UEFA Champions League Group E. They have beaten all the clubs in their group and have earned 12 points in four games.
Bayern secured their qualification from the group on Tuesday, November 2, after beating Benfica 5-2.
Their next two group games are against Dynamo Kyiv which is scheduled for November 23, and FC Barcelona which is scheduled for December 8.
- Juventus
Juventus might not be playing very well in Serie A but they have been having a great time in the Champions League so far this season. They have beaten all the clubs in Group H including the Chelsea football club.
The Italian giants secured their qualification from the group on Tuesday, November 2, after beating Zenit 4-2.
Their last two UEFA Champions League group stage games are against Chelsea which is scheduled to take place at Stamford Bridge on November 23, and against Malmo on December 8.
- Liverpool
Liverpool are set for the last-16 with two games to spare. They defeated all the clubs in Group B, which is regarded as a group of death.
The Premier League side made it out of the group with 12 points in four games after defeating Atletico Madrid 2-0 on Wednesday, November 3.
Liverpool’s last two UEFA Champions League group stage games are against Porto on 25 November, and against AC Milan on December 7.
- Ajax
Ajax have been having the best of time in the Champions League so far this season. They have beaten all the clubs in Group C which earned them 12 points in four games.
Ajax made it out of the group on Wednesday, November 3, after beating Borussia Dortmund 1-3 away from home.
Their last two games are against Besiktas on November 24, and against Sporting on December 7.
What next?
When the group stage of the UEFA Champions League campaign for this season is over, the next thing is the draw for the last-16 stage of the competition.
The draw will take place in Nyon, Switzerland on December 13. While the last-16 games will commence on February 15-16 and 22-23 (first leg) and end on March 8-9 and 15-16 (second leg).
