According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, the Bavarians are ready to back off from the move despite the agreement on personal terms if the £39m offer is not accepted by Fulham.
Meanwhile, with Matthijs de Ligt linked to an exit from Allianz Arena this summer, the club are reportedly set for more reinforcement in the defence. They are eyeing a move for rival Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah, 28. An agreement with the Bundesliga champions for Tah is close.
