Omari Forson to Monza Done Deal!
Manchester United midfielder Omari Forson is set to join Serie A side Monza when his contract with United expires this summer. Monza’s Man United deal will officially expire on June 30.
Futballnews understands that United were keen on keeping Forson. They offered to extend his contract but he rejected the offer. Forson managed only 7 appearances for Manchester United in the 2023-24 season and was poised to leave the club following his struggle for game time.
Now, according to the BBC, he has agreed a contract with Monza for a four-year deal till 2028.
Transfer News: Newcastle United reach agreement with Loyd Kelly
Newcastle United have reached an agreement with former Bristol City and Bournemouth defender Loyd Kelly to sign the player this summer.
Kelly, who joined Bournemouth from Championship side Bristol City in 2019, was out of contract with the Cherries at the end of the just-concluded 2023-24 campaign.
He made 27 appearances for the club in the campaign and was set to call an end to his five-year spell with the outfit with no new deal on the ground.
Futballnews understands Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe pioneered the move to sign Kelly after the club failed to sign free agent Fulham Tosin Aderabioyo.
Kelly has penned down a five-year contract with Newcastle United and is already set to cement his place in the squad, having worked with Eddie Howe at Bournemouth. Howe signed him from Bristol City while he was with the Cherries as manager.
Benjamin Sesko set to sign new RB Leipzig deal
Amidst a storm of interest in Benjamin Sesko, the RB Leipzig star is set to sign a new contract with the Bundesliga outfit.
Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal have all been linked to a move for Benjamin Sesko, who netted 14 times in 31 appearances for RB Leipzig last season.
The youngster had a running contract with RB Leipzig till 2027 but is now set to pen a new deal in a blow to clubs that have been queueing for his services.
