Tottenham have reportedly hijacked the potential loan move of Arnaut Danjuma to Everton after The Dutchman had agreed a deal with the Toffes.
Few days ago, many media platforms reported Danjuma is on his way to the Toffees, but there was a turn of fate after Tottenham brought in a more improved deal with an assurance of playing time.
The player also showed an Instagram message on how he is planning on playing for the Merseyside club and looking for a way to help them survive relegation before the end of the season.
Danjuma is now on his way to London for medical ahead of the move. Antonio Conte seems happy with the deal due to the poor performances of his right wingers, Richarlison and Heung-Min Son.
For Everton, it is a big loss, but they will consider pursuing other transfer targets available. Since the club has been put up for sale by its owner, only a loan deal will be negotiated for any Everton transfer target
The 25-year-old winger spent two years at Premier League side Bournemouth but failed to score in the 14 appearances he made at the club.
He played an important role in helping Villarreal get to the Champions League round of 16, where they defeated Bayern Munich and Juventus in the process.
Danjuma scored 16 goals in all competitions last season.
However, Tottenham CEO David Levy is poised to backing his manager in the January transfer window. The London club is looking forward to signing Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon and Nico Zaniolo on loan from AS Roma.
The manager should also be supported in other areas too. The club goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, has caused them a lot of points, and the defense has been poor.
Levy is well informed about the condition of the team, and he is ready for investment in the squad.
Antonio Conte may decide to change his mind about not signing a new deal at the end of the season, if he sees the ambitions of Tottenham as a team.
Tottenham want to secure a Champions League place in the Premier League and move on to winning the FA Cup and the Champions League.
What will Danjuma bring to the Tottenham team?
Due to constant injuries and poor Tottenham players’ form, Danjuma will be the best January signing for Tottenham.
During his Champions League match against Bayern Munich, Germany’s giant defenders failed to deal with his pace, and his composure on the ball is exceptional.
Danjuma is tricky and can play either out wide or through the middle as a centre-forward.
The player also offer strength to the club, Conte who wants to win silverware before the end of the season will tactically make use of the winger in line with the player’s ability.
