Good day, here are some of the transfer rumours from Spain today.

    Savic Juve’s link mere rumour

The agent of Atletico de Madrid defender Stefan Savic has said the link of his client to Juventus is mere rumours.

While confirming that there have previously been contacts between him and the Italian champions, Juventus said there was nothing concrete.

Savic, who had played in the Serie A with Fiorentina, has 151 first-team appearances for the Madrid-based club, and he has been a regular in the back four for Diego Simeone’s side.

TuttoJuve reports that the link is only speculation, and Savic is tied to Athletico till 2023, and he is very happy at Atletico

     Ramos reveals next destination

Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, has hinted that he might play in the MLS after his contract expires with the Galacticos in 2020, then proceed to coach afterward.

According to AS, Real Madrid are not looking to handling him another contract beyond  2022.

It is, however, unknown if he has been brushing up his English skill, having played in Spain in his entire career so far.

    Schalke planning Sergio Rico swoop

Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico might be plying his trade in the Bundesliga soon as Schalke 04 is reportedly planning to sign him this summer.

He has been touted as a replacement for Alexander Nubel, who will join Bayern Munich.

fichajes.net, reports that Sevilla is looking for a club to sell the goalkeeper as the Bundesliga side continues to look for Nubel’s replacement.

Rico is currently a back up at PSG to Keylor Navas, whose loan deal from Real Madrid was made a permanent deal this summer.

He has found first team action hard to come by at the French capital, playing only two Ligue 1 matches for Thomas Tuchel’s side this campaign.

With his contract set to expire in the summer of 2021, PSG wants to make the loan deal permanent deal, but they said Sevilla’s €10m option on the player is excessive.

Sevilla wants Borja Valero as Banega’s replacement

In a related development, Sevilla is looking for a replacement for Ever Banega who will be leaving the club in the summer, and they are considering a move for Inter midfielder Borja Valero.

Banega will be leaving Sevilla for the second time after agreeing to join Al-Shabab.

35-year-old Valero is a veteran who is also coming to the end of his contract at the San Siro club. With a prospect of first-team football, which he has found has to come by at Inter, Valero could move to the Spanish club.

Porto hopeful on a deal for Barcelona’s Miranda

Portuguese giant, FC Porto is hopeful in signing Barcelona defender Juan Miranda next season.

Diario Sport reports that Porto has therefore joined Real Betis and Schalke in the queue of clubs wanting the defender’s signature.

There is a likelihood that the left-back will stay in Gelsenkirchen, where he is currently on a season-long loan having settled into the squad. According to the paper, he would prefer staying in Germany and continue his progress rather than returning to the Camp Nou as a back-up plan.

However, his future remains unclear after featuring in just seven matches this season, where he made three starts. This means that he won’t meet the minimum of 20 matches to trigger the automatic extension of the loan deal by another season.

On the other hand,  this has boosted the hopes of Porto signing him.
