Top 10 Most Promising Stars: Gavi of Barcelona and Jude Bellingham of Dortmund make the list of world’s most promising young players.
On this list, there are also some surprised top talented players playing across various clubs in Europe.
Jude Bellingham who is 19 years old, has shown that he is worth the £130million-plus tag on his transfer as Real Madrid and Man City are after his signature.
But on this Top 10 Most Promising Stars lists, he is in the second place as noted by CIES Football Observatory.
Bellingham scores a 3.66 points and this is largely based on his experience and he is only behind Barcelona and Spain Ace Gavi.
Gavi, who plays as a midfielder for Barcelona, is just 18 years old but has already enjoyed 90 senior club appearances as well as 19 caps, earning him a score of 4.37.
Gavi, who is the current Golden Boy winner and also scored at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, is a key player in Xavi’s team.
Gavi wants to remain at Camp Nou next season despite several interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
Marcos Leonardo also makes the list and in third place behind the two we have spoken about above.
Leonardo, who plays for Santos in Brazil, made his debut after his 17th birthday in 2020 and is a youth international.
Antonio Silva of Benfica also makes the cut and is the only center-back in the top ten as well.
Silva has made 39 senior appearances since his promotion from Team B, including the Champions League quarter-final defeat to Inter.
Vitor Roque is another starlet on the list, Roque is just 18 but he is making a name for himself in attack for Athletico Paranaense.
This earned Roque his senior Brazil debut against Morocco last month and top-flight clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona are interested in him.
Alejandro Balde, who is Gavi’s teammate at Barcelona is also on this list, he has had five-cap for Spain following his promotion from the La Masia academy to the first team.
Milos Kerkez is the next on our list here, and he is a 19-years-old left back that plays for Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar.
The young defender enjoyed a short spell with AC Milan but has established himself at AZ since joining in 2022 and breaking into the Hungary squad.
Brilliant Brazilians Amongst The Top 10
Endrick is currently Brazil’s Number 3. He attained global fame after he agreed to a £60m transfer to Real Madrid, who beat other clubs for his signature.
The fourth and final Brazilian here is Angelo Gabriel – who is Leonardo’s friend at Santos and who Newcastle United failed to sign last summer.
Gabriel was born in December 2004 and is 18 years old but he has played a staggering 112 times for his boyhood club.
Youssoufa Moukoko, who plays as a striker at Borussia Dortmund, completes our list of 10 talented youngsters.
The German is just 18-years-old but he successfully registered incredible numbers in the academy and the club wasted no time promoting him to the first team.
The club promoted him as soon as he turned 16 years old in 2020 before he went on to represent Germany at the World Cup.
The top ten list does not feature any player who is currently playing in the Premier League.
But in the top 20 youngsters in the world, there is a potential talent in the Premier League and he does not play for the EPL’s ‘Big Six.’ The player we are talking about here is Leeds United’s Wilfried Gnonto who hails from Italy.
Though the former Inter Milan star has not been played frequently by Javi Garcia recently, the 19-years-old has shown glimpses of his talent for club and country.
