Thomas Tuchel has been charged by the English FA after making a comment on Anthony Taylor after a controversial draw against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge in which he thought Tottenham were favored by the referee.
Thomas Tuchel accused Taylor and the referee in charge of VAR, Mike Dean, of making decisions to enable Tottenham to win, in other words, plotting against Chelsea.
Tuchel also felt that the first goal shouldn’t have stood because Richarlison was offside in the build up to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s Spurs opener.
The English FA charged him for breaking FA Rule E3. Thomas Tuchel has until August 25, 2022, to respond to the charges.
Mike Dean apologized last week for not calling Taylor to check on the incident where Christian Romero pulled Marc Cucurella’s hair when Tottenham played a corner that led to Harry Kane’s goal.
Chelsea fans went ahead to sign a petition to stop Anthony Taylor from officiating any match against their team.
