Thiago Alcantara and his beautiful wife Julia Vigas, son Gabriel and daughter Siena took themselves on sightseeing, days after the Spanish midfielder helped Bayern Munich to win the DFB-Pokal.
Thiago whose future with the German Bundesliga champions is not certain, shared a stunning picture showing the sightseeing moment on his verified Instagram page with his wife behind the camera. In the caption, the 29-year-old midfielder simply wrote, “The Coast”, in Romanian.
The Spanish footballer who started his football career with Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona, started the year 2020 in a very high note though outside football. His wife, Julia, gave birth to their second child on January 10, 2020. They named her Siena Alcantara. Siena joined the family 4 years after the couple had their first child and son, Gabriel Alcantara.
Thiago Alcantara and Julia have been inseparable since their relationship became public in 2012. They became husband and wife after Thiago had left Barcelona for Bayern Munich. However, the wedding did not take place in Germany, the couple returned to Spain for the grand wedding which took place on June 27, 2015, in Catalonia, Spain.
Despite the fact that Julia was from a very wealthy Spanish home, that never stopped her from following her husband anywhere football takes him. Hence, she left her multi-million euros hotel business in Spain to stay with her husband in Germany.
Based on reports, such a decision has not been an easy one for her. Hence, there have been speculations that she has been pushing Thiago to return to Barcelona. This speculation became very strong prior to 2019 January transfer window and last summer transfer window but nothing happened.
Thiago Alcantara’s possible move to Liverpool
Instead of the reports that his wife wants him to return to Barcelona to get stronger this summer, it is the romance between Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp and Thiago that is getting stronger by the day especially this summer.
In fact, as at last check, Liverpool football club had reportedly agreed on general terms with the 29-year-old midfielder and they were still trying to agree on a price with Thiago’s current club. According to reports, Bayern Munich has no intention to block the move as far as the price is right for them.
Reportedly, Liverpool could bring the former Barcelona midfielder to the Premier League for about £30 million. However, most critics feel the deal is not necessary due to the health records of the Spanish footballer. The midfielder has reportedly recorded about 14 different injuries since 2016.

Thiago Alcantara has been as successful as he would have been if he was with Barcelona until date. Since he joined Bayern Munich in 2013, he has played over 200 times in all competitions. And he has won 15 titles including FIFA Club World Cup in 2013. The only title he has not won with Bayern Munich is the UEFA Champions League.
This season, he played for Bayern 36 times, scoring 3 goals and made 2 assists. He helped the German Bundesliga giants to win the league and the club’s 20th DFB-Pokal.
