There is more to come from Harry Kane after reaching landmark 200 goals for Tottenham Hotspurs

    England striker, Harry Kane has said there is more to come from him after scoring a landmark 200 goals for Tottenham Hotspurs in their 3-1 win over Ludogoret Razgrad in the Europa League.

    Coincidentally, the goal is coming from his 300th game for the club. This feat leaves him third all the all-time scoring chart of the North London club.

    Since getting into the first team, Kane’s goal last night was his 34th headed goals for Spurs.

    The landmark goal also came as Jose Mourinho’s side dominated a Europa League mismatch in Bulgaria.

    With 27-year-old now in the Spurs history books. few would have predicted his prodigious goalscoring rate when he made his way into the first team seven years ago.

    He is now behind only 1960s legends Jimmy Greaves and Bobby Smith with 208 and 266 goals respectively. It is expected that he moves into the second spot in not time this season with few games played so far.

    Provided he stays fit, he should break the records next season having proven to be prolific goalscorer.

    Apart from being a poacher, Kane has already registered double-digit assists this season. He continued from where he stopped by setting up Lucas Moura for Spurs’ second before being replaced at the interval.

    With the pace at which the English captain is scoring, it seems he won’t be stopping at any moment from now as he is certainly not slowing down.

    Since he is alaready the top-scoring Premier League player in all competitions this season, with 12 goals in 13 appearances, with only Robert Lewandowski ahead of him in Europe’s top five leagues (also 12 for Bayern Munich), Kane’s next target is to beat the Bayern Municg striker.

    He is already on par with another Tottenham favourite – Les Ferdinand – in the top 10 on the all-time Premier League list recently and is “only” 111 behind Alan Shearer’s record haul of 260.

    At the age of 27, it is believed that Kane can do it.

    On the international front, Kane already has 32 goals in 49 caps. The 2018 World Cup Golden Boot is already sixth on the all-time list.

    He needs 22 more goals to overtake Rooney – who won another 71 caps.
