Steve Cook, the Bournemouth faithful has been deemed a hero. Cook, was given a red card after a ludicrous handball  during Norwich vs Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

Bournemouth’s Steve Cook produced the save of the season when he purposely handled the ball in plain sight of everyone.

Steve Cook’s moment of madness was attributed to  Cherries keeper, Aaron Ramsdale decision to run out of his goal post to thwart Norwich Striker Teemu Pukki. However, noticing the keeper leave his line, Ondrej Duda curled one towards the goal but Cook blocked it with a handball. He was given an immediate Red card in which VAR then backed the obvious decision.

Unfortunately for Cook, there was no salvation in his sacrifice as Pukki comfortably put one past Ramsdale to score the opener. Norwich defeated Bournemouth to earn 3 points.
