England striker, Harry Kane is now among the top ten goalscorers in the all-time list of the English Premier League after his solitary strike against West Brom put him on the same the goal tally with former England striker, Michael Owen.
In a game that was heading towards a goalless draw at the Hawthorn, it took a flicked cross for Matt Doherty outside the box to the head of Kane, who made no mistake in scoring his 150th Premier League goal.
Although this came in 218 Premier League games, the English striker, who recently scored his 200th Spurs goal during the midweek Europa League victory over Ludogoret, described it as a perfect afternoon.

Only Alan Shearer (212) and Sergio Aguero (217) scored their 150th Premier League goal in fewer appearances than Harry Kane (218).
Courtesy of Kane’s 150th Premier League goal, Spurs went to the summit of the log temporarily before Liverpool and Leicester games for the first time since August 2014. But the Foxes which is in-form also got back to the summit courtesy of a 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Spurs have a winner in Harry Kane
Kane seems to be on the ascendancy of goals and assist this time around, as he now have 13 goals and 10 assists in just 14 matches for Spurs in all competitions this season.
Getting a goal that mattered most in a game of few chances has shown that Kane could end up winning Spur’s first title under the guidance of Jose Mourinho, who is known for winning titles at each club he has ever worked.
Having Gareth Bale and Heung-Ming Son with him in the front line makes this a possibility.
Kane is known for punishing a minor lack of concentration against any defenders which was the case on Sunday to head home an 88th-minute winner.
Having a striker of such quality of goals and assists makes him a winner. All Mourinho needs to do is to get Bale to his best as Son looked to have formed a great partnership with the English captain.
Having the trio in a menacing form will be hard for any defense to handle. With the hope that none of them return injured from international duties, Mourinho can be guaranteed of goals with the right mix of players as he now have enough to switch around.
As seen on Sunday, bringing in Carlos Vinicious and Lucas Moura re-energized his attack, and the goal he wanted eventually came.
However, with just 8 games played, it is too early for Spurs fans to get carried away. One thing is sure, there are winners in this squad.
Utilising the experience of Bale who has been a winner at the highest level could be the key to their success both at home and abroad.
Mourinho now has the players he wanted, it is expected of him to at least produce a title. Even if the Premier Leahue may look out of reach, he can still get the Europa League, having won it with Manchester United the last time.
Having the likes of Harry Winks, Davinson Sanchez and Steven Bergwijn could even make the squad even more competitive and their best is yet to come. With all these lads, Spurs should be competing for the biggest prize.
Mourinho has succeeded in talking less this time around as he seemed to have grown and learnt from experince. He now does the talking on the pitch as his team now has the grit and organisation needed as a top side.
Starting Bale in a Premier League game for the first time since 2013 shows that he is on the verge of having a lethal attacking trio alongside Kane and Son Heung-min that will not be easily subdued.
Spurs will have to prove their credentials in their next two Premier League games which comes up against Manchester City and Chelsea. This is when we wewill know if they are ready to fight for the top prize.
