How Sevilla Defeated Juventus to qualify for the Europa League Final

Angel Di Maria had a one-on-one situation with Sevilla Yassine Bounou, but his attempt went wide. The Juventus fans were really furious about the poor decision made by the Argentine.

Wojciech Szczesny made an impressive save to stop Ocampos diving header.

In the 42nd minute, Andrien Rabiot did fantastically well to put the ball into the Sevilla net, but it was ruled out for offside.

The VAR made a poor decision in extra time of the first half after they ruled out a Sevilla clear penalty. Juventus Juan Cuadrado slid very hard on Sevilla’s Óliver Torres.

Early in the second half, Moise Kean made a nice pass towards Rabiot, but the French midfielder had his ball saved by Sevilla goalkeeper Bounou.

Juventus almost had the chance of going ahead in the game, but Bremer’s header hit the goal post. The defender met Paredes header, but his attempt did not go into the post.

Juventus, who have hardly been in the game, scored in the 65th minute. It was an excellent goal from Vlahovic, who put the ball over the rushing Sevilla goalkeeper Bounou.

A few minutes later, Sevilla came back with a stunner from Suso. The midfielder took advantage of Juventus defenders inability to clear the line and curled the ball into the top corner, with Szczesny having no chance to stop the ball.

The two goals scored in the second half were by players who were introduced in the second half. Before the end of the second half of the season, Sevilla seemed to be the only team ready to score.
