Former Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has listed out his best three strikers of all time omitting Cristiano Ronaldo and his South American pal Lionel Messi.
The former Manchester City striker, who was also considered one of the best strikers in the world during his playing career, took to his Twitch channel to name his best three strikers of all time.

Leading the list of the best three strikers of all time as named by Sergio Aguero is Brazil and Real Madrid legend, Ronaldo Nazario, followed by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, and then Uruguayan and Liverpool legend Luis Suarez.
Ronaldo Nazario
Ronaldo Nazario was undoubtedly considered one of the best strikers in the world during his playing career.
Nazario, now a football executive and business professional, was a household name in football especially from 2002 to 2007 when he plied his trade with La Liga giants Real Madrid, scoring 83 goals in 127 games for the club.
Nazario also had stints with some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Barcelona and Inter Milan, making a difference in the attack.
At Barcelona, the Brazil legend nearly matched his number of goals with his appearance as he nudged in 34 goals in 37 appearances for the club.
He recorded 9 goals in 20 games for Inter Milan.
Before his spell with the Three top clubs in Europe, Nazario was first spotted as a promising young talent playing for Cruzeiro in Brazil. He recorded 34 goals in 34 games for Cruzeiro before being poached by Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
At PSV Eindhoven, Nazario equally pulled a heroic campaign, scoring 42 goals in 46 games for the club.
Nazario heroic career saw him clinched FIFA World Player of the Year three times, including the Ballon d’Or, and two World Cup trophies with Brazil national team.
Thierry Henry
Sergio Aguero also included France and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry on his list. Thierry Henry played for the biggest clubs in Europe as a top striker but he hit the peaks of his career while at Arsenal.
Henry originally played as a winger at Monaco and Juventus before former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger turned him into a full-blown lone striker in a 4-5-1 formation.
Henry was hailed by Wenger for his spectacular goals, dribbling skills, and blistering pace that enabled him navigate tight spaces and have his way around defenders.
Henry led Arsenal to a League double in 2001/02 season, winning the Premier League title and the FA Cup in what was his best season at the club. He emerged the Premier League top scorer with 32 goals that season.
Henry hurled in a career record 127 goals in 254 appearances for Arsenal, winning the Premier League and FA Cup two times.
He won the Premier League player of the season two times and became the first French forward to win the Premier League Golden Boot three times in a row in 2004, 2005, and 2006 with Arsenal.
Henry won the 1998 World Cup with France, 2000 Euros, and FIFA Confederations Cup in 2003. He scored 51 goals in 123 appearances for France.
Luis Suarez
Sergio Aguero has also included Luis Suarez to his three-man shortlist’ of best strikers of all time.
Although being a somewhat shock name in the list due to his dwarf stats with Uruguay national team, Suarez was a top striker in his own right, having made his marks across top clubs in Europe and emerging as Uruguay all-time top scorer.
Luis Suarez reached the peaks of his career while at Ajax and have continued to play at top level after his move to Liverpool, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid. Suarez scored 111 goals in 159 appearances for Ajax. He scored 82 goals in 133 appearances for Liverpool, and 195 goals in 259 appearances for Barcelona.
He is Uruguay all-time top scorer with 68 goals in 137 appearances.
Suarez won the EFL Cup with Liverpool and KNVB Cup with Ajax. He hit the peaks of his career at Barcelona, winning the La Liga and Copa Del Rey 4 times, including the UEFA Champions League.
He also won the La Liga with Atletico Madrid.
Suarez had won Ajax, Liverpool, and Barcelona player of the season, including the La Liga and Premier League Player of the Season.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi omitted from Aguero’s list
Sergio Aguero’s list may raise eyebrows because of the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi from the list.
Ronaldo and Messi are household names in modern football but it is pertinent to note Aguero restricted his category to strictly ‘strikers.’
Cristiano Ronaldo is a winger (however, in the latter days in his career, he plays as a striker), while Lionel Messi is an attacking midfielder hence the exclusion.
