Saudi Arabian giant Al Nassr has made a contract proposal to sign Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech, who is leaving Chelsea this season.
Ziyech could be the latest star to join Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Arabia Pro League. It was reported that Al Nassr President Musalli Al–Muammar is set to travel to London to complete the deal.
Chelsea will not stand in the way of any player who wants to leave the club. The board are taking it as a rebuilding process under the new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Ziyech has been subjected to different speculations as many clubs are interested in signing the player.
He almost joined Paris Saint Germain in the January transfer window but the deal did not materialize.
He moved to Chelsea from Ajax in 2020. The midfielder played a prominent role, even though Chelsea ended up in 12th place in the Premier League table.
He made 24 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last season, scoring only eight goals. He was barely used under Graham Potter and Frank Lampard.
