FC Porto have completed the signing of Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid for a fee of €15 million.

Reports indicate Porto parted with €15 million for 50% of Omorodion, with Los Colchoneros still having 50% ownership of the economic rights of the footballer.
FC Porto can purchase an additional 15% for €5 million in 2025, and another 15% for an equal amount in 2026.
The 20-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Dragons, which will run until the summer of 2029.
He becomes their 3rd signing this summer, having already secured the services of Francisco Conceição and Deniz Gül.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, a release clause of €100 million has also been inserted in the deal.
Samu Omorodion has been handed the number 9 shirt at FC Porto, and club president Andre Villas-Boas played a key role in the Spaniard’s transfer from Atletico Madrid.
The number 9 jersey given to Omorodion has previously been worn by several stars, including Vincent Aboubakar, Radamel Falcao, Benni McCarthy, and Luís Fabiano.
