Sadio Mane has around 12 months left on his contract with Liverpool and it is not likely that he would extend his stay at the Merseyside club.

Before the end of the 2021-2022 season, the speculation was that Sadio Mane was expecting a new deal from Liverpool but the Premier League side decided to postpone talks until the end of the season which did not go down well with the Senegalese winger.

Sadio Mane has been playing for Liverpool since July 1, 2016, after the Premier League club paid €41.20 million to Southampton for his services.

Since then, the Senegalese winger has scored 120 goals and provided 48 assists in 269 games in all competitions for Liverpool. He has helped Liverpool to win one EFL Cup, one FA Cup, one Premier League, one Champions League, one FIFA Club World Cup, and one UEFA Super Cup.

Sadio Mane’s next destination is most likely to be German Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich. The German club has already made an offer of €30 million for the services of Mane including between €5 million and €10 million in bonus payments. Mane is expected to sign a deal with Bayern which will keep him at the club until June 30, 2025.

But Liverpool are reportedly pushing for more than a €30 million transfer fee before they could consider the offer from the German side.

If Liverpool refuse to accept the offer and Bayern fail to improve it, Mane would have to stay at Liverpool for the rest of the 2022-2023 season. At the end of the season, Mane will be a free agent.
