Bayern Munich forward, Sadio Mane who is currently recuperating from injury was seen on camera speaking German as he updated fans of his injury status.
Mane was seen speaking of how he would be back soon, in addition to his preparation level ahead of the remaining matches in the 2022/23 season.
Bayern Munich signed Sadio Mane on a three-year-deal
Bayern Munich signed the current African footballer of the year, Sadio Mane from Liverpool in the 2022/23 summer transfer window for a fee in the region of around £35 million, with his current deal seeing him stay with Bayern Munich until 2025.
Sadio Mane in his early days at Bayern Munich was seen putting his German classes in order as he wanted to hasten his ability to speak German.
Before the injury, the 30-year-old winger was a mainstay in Julian Naglesmann’s side, as he has contributed six (6) goals and made three (3) assists in fourteen (14) Bundesliga outings.
Sadio Mane throughout the course of his recuperation was making better and fine-tuning his ability to speak the German language.
He is expected to be back late February and Bayern Munich would not want to rush back one of their important assets, who couldn’t feature at the 2022 FIFA World Cup due to a leg injury.
The former Liverpool man scored one-twenty-goals (120) in two-hundred-and-sixty-nine (269) appearances for the Reds.
Sadio Mane created history with Senegal in February, 2022 as he led the nation to their first African Cup of Nations triumph winning the 2021 African Cup of Nations title.
He has scored 31 goals in 59 appearances for the Terenga Lions of Senegal and he has spent 11 years with the national team so far.
Mane the missing piece in Liverpool’s puzzle?
Due to the wishy-washy and uncharacteristic season of Liverpool, many fans of the Reds have expressed how they miss the partnership that existed between Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah.
Some pundits have also stressed how big a miss Mane is to Liverpool and why their current predicament is as a result of the Senegalese sale.
Mane speaking German
When asked in the video how the training went, Sadio Mane answered in German:
“It was superb today, I was a bit tired, but that’s normal…”
The current Bayern Munich forward would be trying all in his power, to assist the German Champions in winning the UEFA Champions League, since they last did it in the 2019/20 season defeating Paris Saint Germain in the final.
Their first task would be to defeat the French side in the round of 16 and you wouldn’t put it past them due to the inconsistent and woeful form currently hovering around The Parisians, who are also plagued with injuries to some of their key players.
Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint Germain in the final 1-0 thanks to a 59th goal from a former Parisian in Kingsley Coleman.
Sadio Mane would not be available for this game due to the Senegalese forward still recovering from the leg injury he sustained in November but he should be ready and fit enough for action in the second leg.
