Brazilian football legend Ronaldo De Lima took to his Instagram page with 21.7 million followers to share a picture to mark the birthday of two of his children, Ronald and Maria Alice.
Ronald is Ronaldo’s first child. The youngster was born on April 6, 2000. While Maria Alice is Ronaldo’s last born who was born on April 6, 2010, ten years after the birth of Ronald.
This means that Ronald turned 22-year-old on April 6, 2022, while his sister, Maria Alice turned 12-year-old on the same day.
For his convenience, Ronaldo De Lima decided to buy a cake each for the two celebrants and had their new ages embroidered on the cakes.
To also ensured that he equally shared his fatherly love with the two celebrants, Ronaldo posed with the two celebrants behind their gigantic cakes.
In the caption, the two-time Ballon d’Or winner who is now a businessman and co-owner of a Spanish club Real Valladolid wrote: “Congratulations my loves. I love you!”

During his playing days, Ronaldo De Lima was one of the biggest footballers of his generation. He played for great European clubs like PSV, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Inter Milan, and AC Milan before he retired from professional football at Corinthians in 2011.
Due to his fame and the fact that he had to move from one city and country to another, he had a couple of failed marriages and relationships.
Hence, Ronald and Maria Alice have different mothers. Ronald is the product of Ronaldo’s marriage to a then Brazilian female footballer, Milner Dominguez.
He was born in 2000, a year after Dominguez and Ronaldo De Lima made their relationship official. Unfortunately, the marriage crashed four years after the birth of Ronald.
The crash of the marriage did not stop Ronaldo to keep taking care of Ronald. Through his influence, Ronald played football at the level of Brazil’s under-18.
But the 22-year-old Brazilian youngster abandoned football to pick up Disk Jockey (DJ) as a profession and his father did not stop supporting him despite choosing a different career path.
As for Maria Alice, she is a product of Ronaldo’s love affair with Maria Beatriz Antony. The two estranged lovers welcomed Alice in 2010, a year after they moved to a new mansion in São Paulo, Brazil.
After being a father to four children, Ronaldo De Lima announced on December 6, 2010, that he underwent a vasectomy because he felt having four kids was enough for him.
