The chief executive officer of Bayern Munich, Oliver Kahn, has insisted that the German Bundesliga giants are not planning to sell their best player, Robert Lewandowski this summer.
For months, there have been speculations that Robert Lewandowski is interested in leaving Bayern Munich this summer even though he still has until June 30, 2023, before the expiration of his contract.
Amid the speculation, FC Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain, and Manchester City are reportedly interested in the services of the 33-year-old Polish striker.
In the same vein, Robert Lewandowski is said to be interested in playing in the Spanish La Liga and his dream is to play for Real Madrid or FC Barcelona.
Recently, reports went viral that FC Barcelona are very interested in the services of the 33-year-old Polish striker because of his ability to score 30 or more goals per season.
Reports in Spain claimed that FC Barcelona are willing to offer the Poland international a three-year deal which would earn him £33 million per season.

Robert Lewandowski who currently earns around £313,666.50 per week at Bayern Munich is said to be interested in enjoying another adventure outside Germany and might grab the opportunity of playing for Barcelona.
But the chief executive officer of Bayern Munich, Oliver Kahn stressed on Tuesday night, April 12, 2022, that Bayern Munich would not sell a player that scores 30 to 35 goals per season this summer.
The retired German goalkeeper noted that Bayern Munich would attempt to keep Lewandowski at the club for another season.
“We would be stupid to sell a player who scores 30 to 40 goals per season”, Oliver Kahn told Amazon Prime. “We are and will be in talks about his future in the next weeks.
“He has a contract till June 2023 and we’ll definitely have him with us for another season.”
Oliver Kahn made this clarification on the night Spanish La Liga club, Villarreal, draw 1-1 in Munich to knock out Bayern Munich from this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign 2-1 on aggregate.
Why Bayern Munich would not sell Robert Lewandowski
Robert Lewandowski has been playing for Bayern Munich since July 1, 2014. He joined the club from Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer.
Since then, Lewandowski has scored 341 goals and provided 69 assists in 370 games in all competitions.
So far in the 2021-2022 season, Lewandowski has scored a whopping 47 goals and provided four assists in 41 games in all competitions. His transfer market value is €50 million.
As for his national team, the Poland international has scored 75 goals in 129 games in all competitions since he made his international debut on September 10, 2008.
