Bayern Munich and Robert Lewandowski are gradually coming to the end of their transfer saga as the Bundesliga champions placed new conditions that must be met before he can exit the club this summer.

The Poland captain have stated that he wants to leave the club but Bayern Munich are not ready to sell him. The 33-year-old goal machine is almost in the final year of his contract with the German champions but doesn’t want to renew or stay at the club any longer.

Robert Lewandowski has had interests from Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea. But his mind is set on joining Barcelona ahead of next season.

Currently, Barcelona are the only club pushing the hardest to sign Robert Lewandowski and it has been rumored that both parties have agreed on personal terms.

However, Bayern Munich are still the reason why he hasn’t joined Barcelona as they are reluctant to accept any offer from any club.

FC Barcelona believe that the legendary goal scorer will be a great addition to their squad as they hope to get back to winning trophies. According to a report, the Bundesliga champions are ready to let go of their top striker but on a condition.

Bayern Munich has placed a transfer fee of €50 million on the Poland hitman and must be paid in a single installment. This means they will let Robert Lewandowski join Barcelona if the Spanish giants meet up with the demands.

The possibility of Bayern Munich signing Sadio Mane from Liverpool may have influenced Bayern’s decision to soften their position. With the arrival of Darwin Nunez, Liverpool are preparing to move Mane to Bayern, which might lead to Lewandowski’s departure.

Barcelona’s financial condition is not ideal at the moment, so a move for the 33-year-old may have to wait until the club completes some player transactions.

Barca president Joan Laporta and his colleagues attempt to pull the economic levers, which will be submitted to a vote by the assembly.

Meanwhile, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain have all expressed interest in Lewandowski. However, the former Borussia Dortmund star is willing to wait for Barcelona to complete the transaction.

Recently, Lewandowski frowned at the kind of treatment he’s getting from Bayern Munich since he announced that he wants to leave the German club.

According to the Polish forward, Bayern Munich didn’t show loyalty and respect to him by trying to stop his move away from the club. He added that no player would want to join Bayern after the ill-treatment the club subjected him to.
