Real Salt Lake have completed the signing of Lachlan Brook from Australian side Western Sydney Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.
Brook becomes the second addition made by Real Salt Lake this summer after the club had acquired the services of Benji Michel on a free transfer.

Confirming the signing of Lachlan Brook, Real Salt Lake put out a statement on their website which read:
“Real Salt Lake again added attacking depth to its roster with today’s acquisition of FW Lachlan Brook, the Australian Youth International and A-League winger who will soon arrive in the United States after one season with the Western Sydney Wanderers in Australia.”
According to the statement, the attacker has signed a deal with Real Salt Lake, which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2025 Major League Soccer season.
There are also options in the contract that could result in the Australian staying at the Major League Soccer club until 2026 and 2027.

Following the confirmation of his signing, Brook expressed his desire to play for Real Salt Lake, as it is a club where he would continue his development.
He said: “Choosing to come to Real Salt Lake was a no-brainer for me, Major League Soccer is a league that is growing internationally in its profile and RSL is a club where I know I’ll be able to further develop my game.”
Lachlan Brook also shared his gratitude at being handed the opportunity to play for the club.
Brook added: “I am very grateful to be given the opportunity to take this next step in my career. I cannot wait to get started and play in front of the amazing fans at America First Field.”
The 23-year-old will wear the number 17 jersey at Real Salt Lake and he will be hoping to accentuate his brilliance in the attacking department.
