Ex-Netherland International Quincy Promes is set to face trial for supposedly smuggling 1,370 kilograms of cocaine.
The country’s public prosecutor’s office disclosed that Promes is said to have been involved in importing two sets of cocaine of about 650 kg and 713 kg each.
Based on a report from Dutch media outlet, NOS, the separate batches were blocked in Antwerp in January 2020.
