Paris Saint Germain forward, Neymar Jr. has admitted his flair for partying, stating that going to parties does not make him immature and irresponsible to his duties at Parc des Prince.
Neymar has thrown annual birthday parties which have attracted A-list players and celebrities from across the globe,
The Brazil international is tagged as a party type of person, organizing big parties at which celebrities will grace, but former PSG boss, Thomas Tuchel did not buy the idea.
The 28-year-old left-winger stated that he is not oblivious of his responsibilities at Parc des Prince- as suggestions pinpointed that he has not been taking the duties of the club very seriously. Hence tagging him as an immature lad is out of the picture, so he can never stop partying.
He said that he would ‘end up exploding’ if he channels his whole energy on the activities of the game, stating that there should be a time for relaxation and enjoyment.
“So, who doesn’t like to party? Everyone likes to have fun, I know when I can go, I know when I can do it when I can’t,” he said told ESPN
“Contrary to what people think, that I’m immature, that I don’t know what I do.”
“I’ve been in football for several years. If you stay 100 percent with your head focused on just playing football, in my opinion, you end up exploding.” The Brazillian said
“It is my time to relax, to be calm… I will never stop doing it.”
Meanwhile, PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino was questioned whether he will permit Neymar to attend his sister’s birthday party; he has attended in the previous years
Pochettino said he has come to realize not to be rigid with situations or impose anything, you one should try to negotiate
“We will see when the time comes. When I started coaching, I said to myself that I would be inflexible, and I wouldn’t let anyone go out,” former Tottenham boss said
“After 12 years of coaching, I’ve come to realize how important it is to be flexible, and I like to negotiate everything. The new generation likes to give their opinion and to be listened to. You get nothing from imposing things; you have to negotiate”
