Much has been put in place to ensure the tournament’s success. However, in Cameroon, the prostitutes known as ‘Ashawo’ are preparing to host visitors who will soon be arriving in large numbers.

The tournament was scheduled to take place between June and July 2021, however, the CAF announced on January 15, 2020, that due to unfavourable weather conditions around that time, it would be moved to January 9 to February 6, 2022.

Following the consequences of the COVID-19 outbreak across the continent, the CAF relocated the event for the second time to January 2022 on 30 June 2020, although keeping the name 2021 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship purposes.

With the start of the AFCON, more visitors from other African countries will flock to Cameroon, necessitating an increase in the prices of their services.

    Price list below

    • Round one: $30 and has increased to $40
    • Round two: From $20 to $70
    • Round three: From $40 to $100
    • Half night: From $70 to $130
    • Full day: $250.

For the one-month event, many tourists are expected in the West-Central African country, and sex workers are hoping to take full advantage. They’ve established new pricing that are the cheapest in Cameroon for getting laid.

Due to the impending arrival of foreign guests, sex workers have been forced to raise their charges.

Cameroon will host the tournament, which will take place at six venues across five cities.

The champions and runners-up in each of the six groups, as well as the best four third-placed teams, will advance to the knockout round of the competition, which runs from 9 January to 6 February and contains 24 teams.

The tournament will be held in two stadiums in Yaounde, as well as new or remodelled grounds in Bafoussam, Douala, Garoua, and Limbe.

Wet weather worries forced the 2021 Nations Cup to be postponed twice, as was Covid-19, and even the draw, which had been scheduled for June, was pushed back owing to the pandemic.

Cameroon was chosen to host the 2019 tournament, however, they fell behind in their preparations, forcing Egypt to step in on the short notice.
