Aston Villa 3-3 Brentford

Thomas Frank’s Brentford nearly secured all three points from a high-flying Unai Emery side at Villa Park. It ended in a six-goal thriller.

Watkins raced Aston Villa into the lead, opening the scoring in the 39th minute. The goal was enough to send the home into the lead at the break.

A minute into the second half, Rogers made it 2-0 for the home side. The Villains looked set to cruise past the Bees before a quickfire triple in nine minutes overturned the game. Zanka, Mbeumo, and Wizza all scored in quick succession in the 59th, 61st, and 69th minutes, respectively, to make it 3-2.

Nine minutes from regulation time, Watkins scored again to bag his brace and peg back the visitors to a dramatic 3-3 draw.

Everton 1-0 Burnley

Everton boosted their chances of escaping relegation as they scraped past relegation battlers Burnley at Goodison Park.

Calvert-Lewin’s first-half stoppage-time strike was all the Toffees needed to secure all three points against the Clarets. The win has seen the Toffees overtake Brentford to sit 15th on the table with 25 points, 4 points clear of the relegation zone.

Fulham 0-1 Newcastle United

Newcastle United bagged all three points against Marco Silva’s Fulham at Craven Cottage. The first half ended barren with both sides unable to find the back of the net.

It almost barren in the second half as well before Bruno Guimaraes scored nine minutes from regulation time to secure all three points for the Magpies.

Luton Town 2-1 Bournemouth

It was a hard-fought victory for Luton Town at Kenilworth Road. The Hatters defied the odds to put Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth to the sword and boost their survival chances.

The first half ended goalless before a goalscoring spree in the second half saw both sides hurled in three goals to decide the tie.

Bournemouth went into the lead through Tavernier’s 52nd-minute goal but the lead was cancelled out by Clark’s 73rd-minute equaliser.

The game was poised to end in a 1-1 draw before Morris scored a stoppage-time winner to hand the home side a dramatic 2-1 victory. Luton Town, sitting 18th in the relegation zone, have now closed the gap on Nottingham Forest with the same number of points but have played a game more.

Wolves 1-2 West Ham

It was a cracker at the Molineux as West Ham United came from behind to defeat Wolves 2-1.

Sarabia had opened the scoring for the home side through the spot in the 33rd minute before two second-half goals by Paqueta and Ward-Prowse completed the comeback for the Hammers.
