Manchester United have joined the race for highly-rated PSG striker Xavi Simons. United want to add the 22-year-old to their attacking options for next season but will face competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester City. Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in Simon.
French Ligue 1 side Lille have turned down Liverpool’s bid for highly-rated defender Leny Yoro. The Merseyside outfit reportedly tabled £42m for the 18-year-old which Lille considers below an optimal offer for the young talent.
Bayern Munich have withdrawn from their move for Chelsea star Levi Colwill. The Bundesliga giants are not ready to meet Chelsea’s valuation of the player.
Manchester City are ready to part ways with Joao Cancelo on a permanent deal. The Premier League champions are reportedly ready to accept an offer in the range of £25m for the Portuguese. Barcelona are interested in keeping Joao Cancelo on another loan deal. It is yet unclear whether they will fork out the £25m asking price by City to sign the player permanently.
Everton have not ruled out a possible exit for highly-sought after England defender Jarrad Branthwaite, who has agreed personal terms with Manchester United. The Toffees rejected a £30 million bid from Manchester United for the player but are considering replacement options should they fail to keep him. 23-year-old Hull City’s Jacob Greaves has emerged as a potential replacement option.
Bayern Munich are still struggling to agree a new new contract with Alphonso Davies. The 23-year-old Canada wing-back has agreed a deal with Real Madrid. The Bavarians are reportedly open to allowing him to continue with the club next season as they have no plans to sell him this summer.
Aston Villa have stepped up their interest in Ian Maatsen. Talks have been convened with Chelsea. The Blues are reportedly ready for a permanent exit solution for Maatsen after his loan spell with Borussia Dortmund.
