Oleksandr Zinchenko And Wife, Vlada Zinchenko Announce The Birth Of Their Second Daughter

    Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko and his partner, Vlada Zinchenko have announced the birth of their second daughter.

    Via a heart-warming post shared on Instagram, Zinchenko was seen in the company of his wife and daughter.

    The couple captioned the post with: “Welcome to this world our princess ❤️ 02.08.2023”.

    Oleksandr Zinchenko and Vlada Zinchenko had initially revealed the gender of their second daughter on July 28, 2023 and everyone was expecting the arrival of the baby.

    The bouncing baby girl has finally arrived and coincidentally she was born a day after the birth date of now elder sister, Eva Zinchenko.

    Ukraine International Zinchenko was beaming with smiles over the birth of his daughter and the pictures shared also included where the couple shared a kiss.

    Several of his teammates past and present have taken to Instagram to send their well wishes to the defender.

    Granit Xhaka and Bernado Silva congratulated Oleksandr Zinchenko over the birth of his second daughter

    Former teammate Granit Xhaka wrote: “Congrats ❤️”

    Manchester City’s Bernado Silva also sent his congratulatory messages to the family over the birth of their second daughter with the words:

    “Zinaaa so happy for you guys ❤️😄”

    Former club Shakhtar Donetsk and Arsenal also offered their well wishes to Oleksandr Zinchenko.

    Shakhtar Donetsk wrote: “Congratulations! 🧡”, while the Gunners wrote: “Congrats ❤️”

    Earlier on Wednesday, Zinchenko shared pictures of his first daughter celebrating her 2nd birthday.

    The 26-year-old captioned the post with: “Unforgettable moments 🎂❤️ #2yearsold”

    Eva Zinchenko was also in the gender reveal video shared by her parents and she was seen in a bubbling mood.

    Oleksandr Zinchenko married journalist Vlada Zinchenko in August 2020 and the relationship has continued to wax stronger and stronger.

    The defender joined Arsenal from Manchester City on the 22nd of July, 2022 for a transfer fee worth €35 million.

    He has made 33 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists across all competitions.

    The birth of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Vlada Zinchenko’s second daughter is coming days prior to Game4Ukraine clash, which was planned by the defender and backed by his foundation.

    Game4Ukraine is a charity encounter which is also backed by Ukraine’s fundraising platform United24.

    United24 was launched following the invasion of Ukraine by Russia in early 2022.

    Several football legends that will play in the Game4Ukraine clash

    The encounter which would be played on the 5th of August will see several football legends including Micheal Essien, Samuel Eto’o, Claudio Makelele, Gerard Pique and Robert Pires take to the field to play football.

    Legendary French manager Arsene Wenger and Chelsea Women manager Emma Hayes would act as coaches on the day.

    Oleksandr Zinchenko hasn’t featured for Arsenal since the 7th of May, 2023 when he played for 61 minutes in the Gunners 2-0 victory over Newcastle United.

    He was included in Arsenal’s squad for their pre-season tour to the United States Of America and that signified his imminent return to the team.

    The former FC Ufa defender was immense for the North London side before he picked up a knock which ruled him out of the 2022/23 season.

    However, he will face competition for places in the center-back position at Arsenal, following the arrival of Jurrien Timber.

    He will also be competing for a starting shirt alongside William Saliba and Gabriel, who both put in a decent shift in preseason.

    Zinchenko signed a four-year deal with the Gunners when he arrived from Manchester City, and that will see him remain at the Emirates at least until 2026.
