Football League action across major FIFA associations has been halted temporarily, with FIFA’s November international break to be observed from Monday, November 11 to 29, 2024.
Continental football associations, including individual FIFA associations, are expected to squeeze in their international matches in the window.
From friendly matches to 2026 World Cup qualifiers, and continental championship qualifiers, there will be enough to engage fans and replace weeks of domestic league action across the globe. These are some top international fixtures for the November international break to watch out for and their kick-off times.
Denmark Vs Spain – Friday, November 15
This is a top cracker to watch out for. 2024 Euro champions Spain will travel to take on Netherlands in what will be a rollercoaster UEFA Nations League clash.
It will be a top-of-the-table matchup between the two teams. Spain are top of the Group with 10 points while Denmark are second with 7 points.
Brazil Vs Uruguay – Wednesday, November 20
This is literally the biggest match in the November international break to watch out for. The two teams will lock horns in a highly-anticipated South American 2026 World Cup Qualifiers matchday 11.
Brazil have not been impressive in the competition but are 4th on the table with 16 points. Uruguay have the same points as the Selecao but are third on the table with a superior goal difference.
The two teams are relatively safe in the automatic qualification spot in the rankings but will hope to secure victory and further boost their chances.
Italy Vs France – Sunday, November 17
This is the biggest UEFA Nations League fixture in the November international break. Italy will trade tackles with France in what will be a rollercoaster.
France lost the reverse fixture at home to the Italians and will be looking to revenge the loss by winning in Italy.
It will be a top-of-the-table clash between the two teams who are first and second in League A Group 2 with 10 and 9 points, respectively. Italy are unbeaten in the group while France’s only defeat was against the Italians.
Hungary vs Germany – Tuesday, November 19
Germany are top of UEFA Nations League A, Group 3 with 10 points from three wins and a draw.
Hungary are tied on 5 points with the Netherlands after a win, two draws, and a defeat. The Hungarians have been the surprising team in the group and are likely to stage a formidable challenge by hosting Germany in the match. It will be a cracker as the two teams cross swords.
