Paris Saint Germain winger, Neymar was so delighted to meet with American rapper, Kanye West who he described as a “legend”.
The American rapper who is in France for the 2022 Paris Men’s Fashion Week decided to stop by at PSG’s Camp des Loges training ground on Wednesday, January 25, 2022.
Based on reports, Kanye West who now likes to be called “Ye” was allowed to tour the facility before he had the chance to pose for photographs with one of the club’s talismans Neymar.
The 29-year-old Brazilian football star did not welcome Kanye West to the training facility empty-handed, the football star presented a customized PSG’s jersey to the rapper.
The iconic shirt number 10 was embroidered on the back of the jersey and Kanye West’s new name “Ye” made its way on the jersey.
Neymar who has been battling with an ankle injury since late last year took to his Instagram page with over 169 million followers to share pictures of his meeting with the American rapper.
In the first picture, Neymar and Kanye West could be seen wearing a big smile while they held tight to the jersey Neymar gifted West. Neymar posed by pointing to Ye to show that the rapper was the man in the spotlight.
In the second picture, Kanye West wore a relatively serious look while he used his two hands to hold on to the jersey Neymar gifted him. As for Neymar, the Brazilian footballer used his left hand to hold a side of the jersey while he used his right hand to make his trademark gesture.
In the caption, the Brazil international showed maximum respect to the rapper by referring to the rapper as a legend. He wrote: “Nice to meet u legend 👏🏽 @kanyewest”.
Neymar who has managed to play 14 times in all competitions this season in which he scored three goals and provided three assists is expected to return to action on January 31, 2022. All things being equal, he could play his first competitive game of the season against Nice in the French Cup round of 16 on the said date.
As for Kanye West, the American rapper who is heavily involved in the fashion business is promoting his 10th studio album, “DONDA”.
Based on an Instagram post he shared recently, it seems West has a deal with Nike and NBA legend Micheal Jordan. He recently shared an image of the iconic “Jumpman” logo which also appears on PSG’s kits. Hence, it might not be unintentional that West decided to visit PSG’s training facility.
Before he visited PSG, Ye attended the Kenzo Men’s Fall/Winter 2022/2023 show alongside his partner, Hollywoodthe actor Julia Fox. He was also at Schiaparelli show in Paris.
